Harrell and Harrell, get on TV and say they will do everything to help their clients. Well let me tell you what they did for me. I had a fall and I contacted Harrell and Harrell. Gave intake person the information of my incident, my case was excepted the next day. The place that I fell was served and insurance company of the property was served I received email with amount harrell and Harrell was demanding for my fall. Then after 4 to 5 months later I receive an email from a paralegal saying harrell and Harrell could no longer represent me with no explanation. And sent my information to another law firm without even asking me first. The commercial is bogus. Harrell and Harrell live up to the words that come out of your mouth! Signed Anita Amerson

Would never ever look at this firm again this firm took on my case and took on another case and was getting everything mixed up. Got the wrong name on my demand offers the wrong dates and they kept on advising me to sign it and they’ll correct it so I requested a little bit more information and to see what’s going on. They told me that my injuries and my pain is not worth it. They couldn’t even get the details right unprofessional would never look twice at them

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE PROCEEDING TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL FIRM‼️‼️‼️‼️ Let me preface this with if I could give it 0 stars… I would do it faster than I could blink. Especially for Greg Schlax and Joan Ortiz Taylor I am DEEPLY disappointed in my experience with this firm and feel compelled to share my truth so that others can make an informed decision. My car accident took place on June 7, 2024, and for nearly a year, I endured a lack of communication, delayed responses, and dismissiveness from the very people who were supposed to advocate for me. My primary contact, Joan Ortiz Taylor, consistently failed to return my calls or provide updates unless I initiated contact myself. Even then, voicemails often went unanswered, and my concerns were ignored for months. After finally reaching my breaking point, I sent a formal email requesting to speak directly with Renee Harrell. Instead of receiving a response from Joan—or Renee—I was unexpectedly contacted by someone I had never been introduced to: Greg. No explanation, no respect for my request, just a handoff. The phone conversation with Greg was unprofessional and frankly, insulting as well as disgusting. His tone was monotone and dismissive, and he made sarcastic remarks like, “I don’t know how much more urgent you wanted me to be besides come to your house last night,” which was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. I never asked for anything unreasonable—only communication, clarity, and respect. Despite my clear frustration, Joan never followed up, and to this day, has still not returned my call or email. Greg, instead of acknowledging the clear wrongdoing, made comments suggesting Joan didn’t respond because she “thought I was mad at her.” That kind of excuse only solidifies how unseriously they took my pain, time, and case. After 10+ months of being left in the dark, I was told my case was settled—without a proper explanation of the breakdown—and I’d walk away with less than $5,000. My medical treatment alone exceeded that. Not to mention the pain, emotional stress, and missed work I’ve endured. I understand policy limits can affect settlement amounts, but no insurance limit justifies being treated like my case—and my wellbeing—didn’t matter. What hurts most is that I had a personal connection to this firm. My aunt, Carla Williams, worked here and spoke highly of it for years. I believed that legacy would be honored and that I would be treated with care. Instead, I felt like just another number. I do not recommend this firm to anyone looking for compassionate, communicative, or client-centered legal representation. When people are dealing with the trauma of an accident, they deserve advocates—not avoidance, sarcasm, or blame-shifting. I hope this review encourages this firm to reflect on how they treat the people who put their trust in them.

Non-informative don’t call the clients then when you call in and tell them it’s life or death or you’re gonna change firms. They will call you right back. They told me they were closed for the holidays but if you look on the website, it says open 24 hours my fiancé is handicap and a traumatic brain disorder and the attorney Roxanne Wilcox try to take advantage but when confronted about miscommunications and statements that was made, the case was closed and dropped found out attorney collected $10,000 check from progressive and didn’t tell the client.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Not very professional in my opinion. I had no idea Harrel and Harrel wasn't coming to trial to represent me , But they surely got paid !

I made a call and spoke to Finn who said someone would call me back and 2 weeks later I had to call back for him to state they could not handle a nursing home neglect matter. He said he left a message which was false no one called. He provided no explanation nor apology. Not impressed with the handling of potential client calls. Not at all like their advertising.

If I could give a negative recommendation I would in order to convey how unequivocally this business has offended myself and my spouse who was the one who procured their services. Unfriendly, dismissive, non-communicative, unresponsive, and obfuscated in every sense of the word when we tried to attain outside monetary assistance. Do yourself a favor and seek counsel elsewhere.

WORST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. First off the paralegal had the nerves to ask me ( did you run red lights and have your lights out on purpose). After that it was all down hill ( hell) I had to do a the follow up and footwork. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

The whole process was frustrating. Every time I either spoke to Nicole (attorney) or corresponded with her regarding my daughter, she was extremely condescending. I felt like I was being talked to like I was the insurance company..like I was stupid. We have never been through something like this and I feel she could have a better bedside manor. When it comes to this particular firm they are rip off they don't care about your case they don't want to share information they don't want to give you information or copies of your case the lady who handled my case was retiring she rushed my case and never sent me any type of paperwork in the mail and there's nothing I could do about it because. By the time I got compensated for my injuries I owed out more than what went into my account and a & Harrell & Harrell still got more money than me left me almost broke 20,000 I only got like 4 thousand while Harrell & Harrell got 6,666. And then told me take it or leave it or shop it around.... I would never trust another firm that is commercial famous...

I called them the day after my son was bitten by a dog in Jan 2021. They gave me full confidence that it would be an easy case as I was seeking compensation for the medical bill. I went through the whole process with them and today ,7 MONTHS later! They send me a letter telling me they will not accept the case. Super disappointed!!

I have to constantly call to get updates on my case, as this is my first experience dealing with a lawyer I'm not happy with the way things are going. I get told I would recieve a call on a certain day for an update only for 3 to 4 weeks later still no phone call. It seems as if it's the norm to do this because I get told the same thing when ever I get in touch with my lawyer. I was also told by another employee that my paperwork had not been updated for about 5 months. I now have 3 medical bills on my credit report for collections and my credit score has went down. After experiencing what I have so far I cannot recommend anyone for services here until I see some changes.

I really dont think its professional to act like that especially when its someone's first time hiring a lawyer. Communication there is none. You always have to call them .

My ex-wife's experience wasn't what she exspected from H/H. It was plain to see their not capable of fighting for there client. She felt like she wasn't represented when needed, they caved in. I highly recommend any other Firm other than H/H.

I was told that I had a very good case with witness, however after over a year they bowed out send me to another attorney, not of my choosing, and nothing happened so far. I was kept out of the loop, with both attorneys - most of the time, and had to fire both attorneys. Go some place else.

i have a serious rare brain disorder and was injured at a store, i said what happened over live chat, i was then called my representative loraleigh /loralee and i dont mind being referred to another attorney but the laughing while it was said cuz of the circumstances pertaining to my case was uncalled for, you Madam are very rude, if you have employees like this they are letting cases get away, and leaving seriously injured clients very disrespected

I really had a lot of faith in Harrell & Harrell but then not only failed to do there job with my personal injury case but they also mailed me a letter to let me know they not going forward with my case after 3 months of trusting them. Never helped me see not one doctor. Even emailed the paralegal Janet Short who was working on my case and wouldn't receive an email back nor a phone call. Have an email saying she would let me know of the doctors in my area that they work with but never did. I suffer everyday and they just drop my case with no hesitation. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Bad experience they promise a lot, but I constantly had to tell them about the mistakes they made. They didn't go over the cost from the insurance after I sent them all the paperwork. Simple mistakes harrell company should have caught but didn't look over the paperwork. I would not recommend them for any legal work! After you sign on the dotted line it's hard to get them to do there job. I ended up paying a lot more than I should have because of there neglect and not keeping up with the paperwork they had me send them. Get another attorney don't use Harrell and Harrell.

Harrell and Harrell settling for way less than you deserve. I've been dealing with them for 2 years October makes 3 years over a car accident and the settlement never changes. I've been so tired of dealing with these people 21 days ago I signed the paper to get my check she said it was going to be 10 days before I got it but I still haven't. She is also getting more than I am, the person who went through the trauma, for making very few phone calls over my case. Don't waste your time with this place it's not even worth it I had to pay more for my replacement car than what I'm getting

I wouldn't recommend them. While I was going through my case I suffered. They will line their pockets. I could never borrow money on my case to pay bills. I had to sit there while my life was falling apart. When tried to get an update on what the plan was my lawyer was out a whole week. When asked about things I got excuses.

If they don't feel like they're going to get enough money from your case they will pawn you off on a smaller firm in favor of malpractice suits because they're worth more money. Go with one of the other big name firms.
